Its AGirlNamedEgypt and welcome back to another Spooky Cooking Tutorial 🎃, Today ( Well I made these on like the 5th soo … 😅 ) we are going to be making super delicious and really healthy Nachos Spook-chos ……( Get it? 😉 ) , Yeah I am the coolest Cat at my school 😎…….( Which is just my brother and I )…. Yeah Lets get on to the recipe 😅
WHAT YOU WILL NEED.
- Mince 500g
- Sliced Red Onion ( Or Brown , I just prefer Red )
- 5 Medium Mushrooms, Sliced ( I think mine are brown mushrooms but im not completely sure )
- 1 Sliced Red Pepper
- 1 Grated Carrot
- 1 Can Chilli or Salsa Beans ( I used Salsa as it has corn in it too )
- 1 Can Pasta / Bolognese Sauce
- Nacho Chips ( I used Nacho Cheese Doritos as i love them )
- Sour Cream
- Grated Cheese
- Piping Bag ( If you want to do the cobweb design but if not you can still make delicious Nachos and just dollop on the Sour Cream )
- 1 Ripe Avocado
- 1/4 of Sour Cream
- 2 Teaspoons Lemon Juice
- Salt and Pepper
- Optional* Few drops of tabbasco Sauce
First Prep all your ingredients as I find it’s easier to throw it all together instead of prepping things while cooking things and getting all mixed up.
Next of course Wash your hands and wipe down your bench.
In a frying pan, Brown the mince on about medium, Remember you don’t really need any oil when cooking mince as it is generally a fatty meat.
You can always prep ingredients while mince is browning or you can catch up on a couple of YouTube videos or Twitter , I know which one I prefer 😉
After the mince is browned you can drain the fat , Which I do by letting it go to one side of the pan and using a spoon scoop it into a cup then throw the fat away as its pretty “Blah”😝.
And all your fresh ingredients and cook through for a couple of minutes then add your beans ( I used half a can but you can use more ) and Pasta Sauce and simmer through.
While it is simmering lets prep the chips 🍟
Place as many chips as you would like on your plate but shape it so its shallower in the middle for the mince to go, So the chips are kind of a border for the mince.
Add some grated cheese and grill for a couple of minutes until cheese is melted.
Once grilled scoop on some of our delicious Nacho mince into the middle , Add some more grated cheese and grill again.
Cut Avocado in half , Remove stone and scoop out flesh.
Using a fork mash the Avocado lightly in a small bowl
Mix in sour cream, lemon juice and optional tabasco, Season with Salt and Pepper
Dollop on as much Guacamole you want and if you want to make the web pattern, Scoop some sour cream into a piping bag or zip lock bag, Simply snip off a corner and pipe a cobweb shape.
You can also add anything you want on top of the that, I love Sweet Chilli sauce Yum!
